Express Brand Video Details
Description: The Express Brand Video product delivered to the client will be a 3 to 5 minute video suitable for the use in the branding, marketing and advertising of the client’s company, small business or location. The content of the video will consist of location video of the client’s business, interview footage of company principals, managers or spokespersons telling the story of their company and relevant b-roll shots of the company's products or services, manufacturing processes, facilities, buildings, signage, staff duties, etc. The video will include opening and closing graphics with company logos and pertinent contact information (if desired) as well as lower-third title graphics for the company staff featured in the video.
Process: The Digital Media Services video crew will schedule a video shoot at the client's location for recording location, interview and b-roll footage. All camera equipment, lighting and grip equipment, audio equipment and video staff will be provided. DMS will remain at the client location for up to 8 hours shooting interiors, exteriors, interview and product shots.
Once all video has been shot, staff title information has been verified and logo graphics have been collected, footage will be taken back to the DMS facilities and edited into a completed product. Standard editing time is two to three weeks. An online version of the edited video will be posted on a private Web page for review by the client. Any minor requested changes will be immediately addressed and the final version of the product will be delivered to the client.
Delivery: The final video product will be delivered to the client in the format of their choosing. Standard options include delivery on Video DVD, DVD-ROM, Blu-ray or via a download server in the client's preferred Web video format (QuickTime, Windows Media, Flash Video). The video may also be uploaded to the client’s YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook or other page.
Costs: The product described above costs $2,495 and incorporates a high definition video format. High definition video is recommended for two reasons: online viewers will enjoy a higher-quality, larger video size, Blu-ray delivery provides the option of playing on an HDTV in full resolution and video footage is future-proofed since any repurposing at a later date will not be compromised because of source material that is of too low a resolution. Customized options are available at additional costs. Clients outside of the immediate Tampa Bay area will be charged for travel expenses.
Production policies: In order to maintain the highly-discounted rates associated with the production described above, it is important that the client, the client’s staff and the client’s location be prepared for the production. An approved shot list and an interview questionnaire (if needed) must be developed prior to the scheduled shoot day and the on-camera staff must be dressed properly with their office or other location prepared for the shoot. The remaining office staff must be aware of our location and b-roll shooting. Delays during production due to the client or location not being properly prepared may incur additional fees. Overage fees are billed at a rate of $250 per additional hour. The production assumes that reliable A/C power is available and access to adequate parking and an equipment entryway are available. Editing decisions will be based on the use of footage that provides the viewer with an effective overview of the client’s company and footage that presents the on-camera staff in the most positive light. All editorial decisions are at the discretion of the Digital Media Services editor; any re-edits beyond minor changes after viewing the approval edit will incur additional costs.
Copyright: All productions are the copyright of Digital Media Services and are being licensed to the client for unlimited usage on their Website. Additional licensing may be negotiated. Digital Media Services retains the right to use all productions as promotional products.
Additional services: The client may choose to add additional services such as a makeup artist, additional copies of their video on disc, professional voiceover talent and script writing services. DMS will provide a quote for additional services upon request.
